Credit Card Policy

As of November 1st, 2022 a 2.4% surcharge will be charged on all invoices paid using credit card (VISA, Mastercard). Online purchases through our website or invoices paid with debit, e-transfer, and PayPal are exempt from this surcharge.

Refund Policy

As of June 1st, 2023 a 2.4% surcharge will be charged on full or partial refunds to credit cards, debit cards, website or Paypal invoice.

Pre-Order Policy

Pre-orders are non-refundable. Pre-order cancellations are at Azimuth’s discretion, and if approved, total of sale will be given as store credit only.

Due to world changes on gas and transportation prices, shipping estimates on pre-ordered products cannot be guaranteed. Actual shipping will be charged at time of shipping. Shipping charges will be confirmed and processed at the time of shipping to your payment method on file. Shipping charges must be completed before product can be shipped.

If you have ordered an item for pre-order on our website (this includes items deemed ‘backordered’) you will be charged an automatic shipping calculation at the time of sale. If there are changes to that shipping at the time of your shipment being ready to send out, we will contact you to collect the difference if applicable.

Cancellation Policy

You may decide to cancel your order. If your order has not been shipped, there may be a 5% cancellation fee deducted from your refund – the credit card companies charge us a percentage for the original sale plus a percentage on the refund. If any portion of your order has been shipped, please refer to our return policy.
If you need to cancel a “special order” – an item brought in especially for you – that has not been shipped yet by the originating manufacturer, a 25% to 50% cancellation fee will apply – this will be the amount the manufacturer charges us to cancel the order. If the manufacturer has shipped the product already on a special order, then there is no refund on special orders.

Deposits on special order Firefly batteries are non-refundable. Please note, the lead time on Firefly Batteries can be upwards of 6 months or more. We do not guarantee a delivery date and we do not refund deposits. Batteries will be shipped when they are available and the remainder due on the balance of the order. Balance due must be paid within 30 days of availability or your deposit may be forfeit.

Return Policy

Stock Merchandise purchased from Azimuth Solar Products Inc. may be returned within 15 days of date of purchase. You will receive a refund, less shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee, provided the product is returned in the original packaging – which is in new and re-sellable condition with the original blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories. If any part of the returned product is missing or damaged, Azimuth Solar Products. may reject the return.
Before returning the product, you must contact Azimuth Solar Products to receive an RMA# for your return. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date issued and the product must be received in that time period. Please clearly print the RMA# on the outside of the shipping box, and NOT on the item or its packaging. A refund will be issued only after the product has been received and inspected at our office. Freight charges are the responsibility of the shipper and will not be paid by Azimuth Solar Products Inc.
Note: if you are returning the product from a location outside Canada, please contact Azimuth Solar Products for special instructions regarding the return. Any brokerage, duties or assessed shipping and administrations fees by the shipper will be taken off the refund price.
There are no returns allowed on special orders or clearance items.

Taxes & Pricing

All applicable Federal and BC Provincial taxes will be charged at the time of purchase based on the shipping address. All pricing on this website is in Canadian dollars. For orders outside Canada, please contact our office re: shipping options, brokerage and currencies. If you are paying online, Paypal will automatically convert your home currency to CAD dollars. Please note, pricing does not include shipping, brokerage, and duty outside of Canada. Prices are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to cancel and refund orders in full due to stock availability, exchange rate changes, errors or omissions or any other reason.

Shipping

Solar products can be fragile, large and expensive to ship.
NOTE: We draw from a network of warehouses across Canada. If something shows as in stock, it may not ship from our head office in Kelowna, instead it may ship from Calgary, Vancouver, or Ontario. If you wish to pickup stock or are on a tight timeline, please call first to verify stock availability and lead time.
We will ship your product via the least expensive carrier that is appropriate for the type of product offered and that services your delivery address. We will do our best to package the item up in the best compromise of quality and pricing. If you are from a location outside Canada, we can likely ship to you, but you need to call our office to make special arrangements. If our shipping calculator does not offer shipping quotes to your location, please contact our office. For items that cannot be shipped by Canada Post, we will need a street address to ship to you by courier.
Most carriers require a signature when the parcel is delivered. When you sign for the parcel, you are signing that it is in GOOD CONDITION AND NOT DAMAGED. BEFORE YOU SIGN, closely inspect the package for any damage, dents, tears, punctures or creases. If there is obvious damage, you have the right to open the package and inspect the contents. If the delivery driver does not want to wait for for your inspection, write “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION” on the delivery receipt. AGAIN IF YOU SIGN FOR IT, YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO CLAIM SHIPPING DAMAGE LATER. If you write Subject to inspection, you need to inspect the parcel or freight within 24 hours or YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO MAKE A CLAIM FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE.
Please inspect all parcels for damage and accuracy within 24 hours or you waive your right to make a claim for damage or errors.
If there is damage, please note clearly on the paperwork what the damage is or REFUSE THE DELIVERY AND CONTACT AZIMUTH SOLAR IMMEDIATELY.
Shipping quotes displayed during checkout may be revised to reflect actual shipping costs. We will notify you BEFORE shipping/processing your order if an adjustment is necessary. This should only occur for large orders or rural/unusual locations.
If you would prefer to pick up your item or for specialized shiping arrangements, we can probably accommodate your request, but you will need to contact our office and make special arrangements. We are also happy to provide written price quotes on shipping. This is a good idea if you live in a remote, or rural location or if you are purchasing larger items or several items as our shipping calculator is not always accurate for composite shipments.
