The Air Stop Switch is recommended for shutting down the Primus Wind Power Air Series Wind Turbines: Air Breeze, Air 30, Air 40, Air X and Air Silent X wind turbines. This 3- position super heavy duty switch is “triple sealed” with a flexible acrylic coating, T5 clear vapor seal and a toggle boot cover.

This stop switch is rated 50 Amp DC and will allow you to stop the turbine during high wind periods.

The switch first disconnects the battery and then shorts the turbine output wires together causing the turbine to stop spinning, in high winds the blades may spin slowly. Shorting the turbine does not cause any damage or additional wear on the unit.

This is most useful to prevent damage to the turbine during a major storm or in times of extremely strong wind.
